Westmont Bagel Cafe & Eatery, a South Jersey gem, crafts homemade, boiled bagels and schmears daily, continuing a 30-year family tradition of delicious breakfast, lunch, and community love.
Westmont Bagel Cafe & Eatery, located at 674 W Cuthbert Blvd in Haddon Township, is a revered name in the South Jersey bagel game. Since 1993, this family-owned and operated business has been handcrafting old-fashioned, boiled and baked bagels and homemade cream cheese spreads daily.
Nazzareno “Nat” Acchione Sr. (who journeyed to America from Naples, Italy, in 1954!) had previously been a mason and decided to open Westmont Bagels as a family business. Nat worked at the shop throughout the rest of his life, making delicious bagels and homemade schmears. Sadly, he passed in 2019. And now his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Pat Leuzzi, and the next generation (grandson Pasquale) continue to uphold his legacy and keep the business going today.

The bagels at Westmont Bagel Cafe & Eatery are a testament to tradition and quality. They are made fresh daily—boiled and baked—the old-fashioned way (video coming soon of the bagel-making process!) The housemade flavored cream cheese spreads further enhance the authentic experience, drawing crowds of loyal customers to the bagel shop year after year.
When you meet Donna and Pat Leuzzi, you can’t help but feel their pride in the product and in running a local business that brings joy to people’s lives. Supporting Westmont Bagels is not just about enjoying delicious food; it’s about being part of a community and contributing to the success of a small business.
Westmont Bagels is open for breakfast and lunch seven days per week from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM for dine-in, take-out, or delivery through 3rd party food delivery services. They also offer party trays and catering for off-site events.

Usually, they have up to 24 bagels and 14 flavored schmears at any time and they keep everything stocked as frequently as possible so you should find what you want. Seasonal flavors, bagels celebrating holidays and local sports teams, are almost always featured.
While bagels are their claim to fame, Westmont Bagels is so much more than bagels. The menu is incredibly diverse, offering a full-service breakfast with a wide range of options. They have something for everyone’s breakfast cravings—from omelets to breakfast platters, from breakfast sandwiches to French toast and pancakes, and even breakfast burritos and quesadillas! 😋

You can also enjoy a delicatessen-style lunch with all the classic deli sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, and salads. Don’t forget the sweet treats, too!

Upon our recent visit, I enjoyed JL Jupiter’s Jam. Where JL’s version comes with an Everything Bagel, I swapped mine out with an egg bagel with bacon, fluffy eggs, grape jelly, and apple cinnamon cream cheese. SO GOOD!
