Things are heating up in South Jersey. Especially in Burlington County!
IFFY’s Hot Chicken recently opened at 675 High Street in Burlington. Named after owner Iftikhar Shah, 35, aka “IFFY,” who previously owned Shef’s Steaks and Burgers on Sunset Road. He also owned Chef’s Hot Chicken in Jersey City from 2021 to 2022, which proved the trend was on fire. Now he’s introducing South Jersey to the hot chicken obsession engulfing the region.
IFFY candidly said hot chicken “is a trending scalable concept.”
He’s not wrong. Hot chicken in Philadelphia has the city on fire. It was only a matter of time before hot chicken started burning up South Jersey and IFFY’s Hot Chicken is ready to blaze the trail.
IFFY said, “Our menu consists of free range, fresh, never frozen chicken tenders and wings. Our tenders and wings are seasoned at all stages and are freshly breaded and fried to order. We have a bakery that makes fresh artisan brioche buns for us, and we make our own coleslaw in-house!”
IFFY’s menu features hot chicken sliders, party wings, tenders, seasoned fries, loaded fries, loaded mac & cheese, mozzarella sticks, homemade peach tea, and a variety of cheesecakes for dessert.
The sliders feature freshly breaded tenders on a brioche bun with pickles, coleslaw, and IFFY’s Signature WOW sauce.
Wing flavors include sweet chili, honey BBQ, lemon pepper, garlic parm, and Buffalo.
Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to midnight daily.
Iffy said he already plans to expand to other locations in New Jersey – so the hot chicken trend is not going anywhere, anytime soon!
