One of South Jersey’s most recognizable names in cake artistry is coming home.

This summer, DiBartolo’s Kakery will officially open inside the new Del Buono’s Pastry Shop in Westmont, creating an exciting partnership that brings together two beloved South Jersey culinary traditions under one roof.

For decades, master cake artist Al DiBartolo has been the creative force behind some of the region’s most spectacular celebration cakes. From elegant weddings and milestone birthdays to anniversaries, graduations, and community events, his edible works of art have become part of countless cherished memories throughout South Jersey.

When DiBartolo Bakery closed at 667 Haddon Ave in Collingswood, folks were bummed. He eventually popped up at Classic Cake in Cherry Hill. Now, Haddon Twp will once again have a dedicated destination to experience his award-winning craftsmanship.

A Nationally Recognized Cake Artist

DiBartolo’s reputation extends far beyond South Jersey.

His incredible talent has been showcased on national television, including appearances on Food Network’s Save My Bakery, TLC’s Next Great Baker, and perhaps most notably as the winning team captain on Food Network’s Halloween Wars, where his team claimed the competition’s $50,000 grand prize with stunning cake creations that impressed both judges and viewers.

Closer to home, DiBartolo has become famous for creating elaborate cakes for Monster-Mania celebrity guests, local organizations, businesses, and thousands of families celebrating life’s biggest moments.

His signature blend of artistry, precision, and imagination has earned him a loyal following across the Delaware Valley.

More Than Just Custom Cakes

The new DiBartolo’s Cakery inside Del Buono’s will offer much more than spectacular custom cakes.

Customers can look forward to:

  • Beautiful custom celebration cakes
  • Wedding cake consultations
  • Cupcakes and seasonal pastry creations
  • Cake decorating classes for beginners and experienced decorators
  • Live demonstrations and special events

Whether you’re planning an intimate birthday celebration or an elaborate wedding, the new space is designed to become a destination for cake lovers of all ages.

A Sweet Partnership for South Jersey

The collaboration represents more than simply adding another business inside the new bakery.

It brings together two names that have become synonymous with quality, craftsmanship, and tradition in South Jersey.

The partnership combines Del Buono’s generations of baking excellence with DiBartolo’s nationally recognized cake artistry, creating a destination unlike any other in the region.

Construction and preparations are underway, with DiBartolo’s Cakery expected to open later this summer inside the new Del Buono’s Pastry Shop in Westmont (formerly McMillan’s Bakery).
