Yes, it’s true.
I was told a few days ago this was happening. Confirmed on both sides. The Emanet family of Jersey Kebab will take over the Stardust Cafe at 729 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood.
They made the public announcement today via their Facebook page.
Muhammed Emanet told South Jersey Food Scene that they will be expanding their concept, adding more to the restaurant and menu. The restaurant will be in the main dining area and they will also utilize the private party room in the back. The corner room will be empty, but available to book for private events. They will be offering catering services.
“We’re actually going to do everything we’ve been doing at Jersey Kebab but to a much bigger extent. We will offer the famous Turkish breakfast spread as well as all diverse traditional kebabs, homemade dips and soups. We will have a diverse Mediterranean salad bar with all the options. And also we will be bringing famous Turkish ice cream with an entire dessert bar where we will be making baklava waffles and other flavors topped with pistachio cream and other Turkish fudges.”
According to Emanet and the post above, the final day at the Haddon Township location is 10/26. They hope to be re-opened in early November in Collingswood.
More to come, including opening date, when it becomes available.
