The Camden County Board of Commissioners, in partnership with the Garden State Wine Growers Association, successfully hosted the New Jersey Wine Month Celebration, a celebration of local wine, on Tuesday, November 25, at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken Township.
Held from 5 to 7 p.m., the event honored the region’s thriving winemaking community. It brought together county officials, industry leaders, and state dignitaries for an evening of wine tastings, light fare, and networking. Guests enjoyed sampling a variety of locally produced wines while engaging in conversation with winery representatives and fellow attendees.
Participating wineries included Amalthea Cellars, Saddlehill Cellars, Sharrott Winery, Tomasello Winery, White Horse Winery, and William Heritage Winery, all of which showcased signature selections throughout the evening.
In addition to celebrating New Jersey’s winemaking industry, the event also featured special announcements previewing plans and initiatives for the 2026 wine season. Organizers emphasized the importance of supporting local vineyards and the growing economic and cultural impact of New Jersey’s wine industry.
The celebration concluded with a collective toast to local wineries, reinforcing New Jersey’s continued commitment to promoting regional agriculture, tourism, and small businesses.
South Jersey Food Scene proudly attended the event to learn more about the local wineries.
