Norie’s Lunchbox, a popular Camden mobile food business serving epic regular, chicken, and seafood cheesesteaks and loaded seafood nachos, has opened a brick-and-mortar location at 39 North 4th Street (4th & Market) in Camden. Previously found in front of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Norie had an opportunity to open the storefront and couldn’t pass it up.
The business exploded when LJ Jupiter featured Norie’s Lunchbox on his YouTube channel in 2021. So much so that Janora “Norie” Carter, a former hospital employee, upgraded from a food cart to a full-size food truck and scooters to deliver in downtown Camden.
Carter told South Jersey Food Scene, “I was looking for a side hustle and bought the food cart. I never cooked before but learned quickly and now this is my full-time job!”
A restaurant is the logical next step in Norie’s success.
Norie’s is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1 pm until they sell out.
