CC’s Candy Factory in Pennsville is now CC’s Crave Factory

There’s a new name and a fresh new look at a familiar Pennsville business.

CC’s Candy Factory is now CC’s Crave Factory, a name that owner Carol Clour believes better represents everything you can find inside the shop.

The business underwent a bit of a makeover over the summer, including a fresh coat of bright pink paint courtesy of Clour’s son. The eye-catching exterior certainly stands out, serving as a colorful beacon for all things craveable.

Now, the transformation is complete with a new name.

“It’s Facebook official — we changed our name!” the business announced. “CC’s Candy Factory is NOW CC’s Crave Factory. Same great store! We aren’t just candy!”

And that last part is really the reason behind the change.

CC’s Crave Factory Is Much More Than Candy

While candy remains a big part of the business, CC’s has evolved into something considerably more diverse.

The shop is known for its selection of freeze-dried candy, but customers will also find baked goods, local honey and tea, chocolate-dipped pretzels, Swedish Fish and plenty of other sweet treats.

Clour has also made supporting other small businesses part of the store’s identity by carrying a variety of locally made products.

Looking for a gift? CC’s offers gift baskets and plenty of unique items that can make putting together something special a little easier.

However, you don’t necessarily need a sweet tooth to find something to crave here.

Savory Grab-and-Go Food, Too

One of the biggest reasons the old “Candy Factory” name no longer told the whole story is the growing selection of savory food.

The grab-and-go case can feature dips, soups, salads, bowls, stuffed peppers, lasagna and other prepared dishes. That makes CC’s as much a place to stop for something to eat as it is somewhere to satisfy a candy craving.

The broader selection is something we previously highlighted when South Jersey Food Scene first featured CC’s Candy Factory.

The new CC’s Crave Factory name brings the branding up to speed with what the store has become.

For Clour, the changes also come with plenty of gratitude for the customers who continue to support the independently owned Pennsville business.

“Thank you, everyone, for the continued support — the reason we can open our doors daily!” the business shared.

So, yes, you can still head to CC’s when the candy craving strikes. But whether you’re craving something sweet, something savory, a locally made product, or a unique gift, the newly renamed CC’s Crave Factory wants to have you covered.

And with that bright pink exterior, you probably won’t have much trouble spotting it.
