On Monday, November 17, the plant-based fast-casual favorite Greens and Grains is opening its doors at 320 Rowan Blvd in Glassboro, within walking distance of the campus of Rowan University. Locals can rejoice at the arrival of a new option to the South Jersey plant-based dining scene.
Greens and Grains is a fully plant-based eatery that specializes in salads, bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, and more. Their mission is simple: “Plant-based food for everyone.”
The opening of Greens and Grains Glassboro, at the Whitney Center on bustling Rowan Boulevard (formerly home to The Pierogie Place), brings more accessible plant-based dining to the Gloucester County community. It joins other well-known restaurants such as Chickie’s & Pete’s and LaScala’s Fire.
Founder Nicole Psounos said, “We’re excited to bring Greens and Grains to Glassboro, offering healthier options on campus for Rowan University students, faculty, visitors, and locals.”
The new eatery is conveniently located at the crossroads of Rowan Blvd and Route 322/Mullica Hill Road, one mile from Route 47/Delsea Drive and just 2 miles off Route 55.
There is something for everyone at Greens and Grains, including many options for those following a gluten-free diet.
Greens and Grains Glassboro will be the company’s 11th location, with a 12th on the way in Boca Raton, FL. That’s 12 locations in Atlantic, Gloucester, Camden, Monmouth, Cape May, Philadelphia and Palm Beach Counties in just over 10 years. This local chain is poised to keep expanding, with most new locations as franchises.
