There’s a fresh new option in Ocean City for those looking for a healthy, made-to-order meal. Chop Wave has officially opened at 1000 Asbury Avenue in Ocean City, offering a fast-casual concept centered on fresh ingredients, endless customization, and flavorful food made just the way guests like it.
Guests can build their own salad, grain bowl, or wrap from a wide selection of crisp vegetables, wholesome grains, premium proteins, cheeses, fresh toppings, and house-made dressings. Every meal is prepared fresh to order, allowing customers to create combinations that match their personal tastes and dietary preferences.
For dessert, Chop Wave offers a fun build-your-own ice cream sandwich experience. Guests can choose their favorite ice cream sandwich and customize it with a variety of sweet toppings, creating a one-of-a-kind treat that’s perfect after a fresh meal—or anytime a sweet craving strikes.
Behind the concept is owner and head chef Ryan Tyers, whose passion for opening a restaurant has been years in the making. After years of planning, Tyers made the bold decision to leave his previous career and pursue his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant full-time.
His goal was simple: create a welcoming space where fresh, high-quality ingredients meet unlimited customization, giving every guest the freedom to enjoy a meal that’s both nutritious and satisfying without compromising on flavor.
As demand continues to grow for customizable dining options, Chop Wave joins Ocean City’s expanding food scene with a concept that blends healthy eating with plenty of creativity. From colorful salads and hearty bowls to satisfying wraps and custom ice cream sandwiches, there’s something for everyone.
Chop Wave is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will be open year-round.
