Editor note: Yes, the graphic says “FOUR” but we added an extra one because they could use the moral support since their opening has been pushed back due to an unfortunate accident.

Haraz Coffee House Coming to Marlton Commons
Construction is officially underway for Haraz Coffee House, which is opening in Marlton Commons on Route 73 in Marlton.
Founded on Yemen’s rich coffee traditions, Haraz Coffee House has quickly become one of the fastest-growing specialty coffee brands in the country. The café is known for serving premium Yemeni coffee sourced directly from family farms, along with handcrafted espresso drinks, traditional teas, refreshing fruit beverages, and an assortment of Middle Eastern-inspired desserts and pastries.
Haraz locations have become destinations for both coffee enthusiasts and those seeking something beyond the typical coffeehouse menu. Their beautifully designed cafés also make popular spots for studying, meetings, or catching up with friends.
With construction now visible at Marlton Commons, excitement continues to build for what is expected to become one of the area’s newest coffee destinations.
Maman Coffee Bakery Kitchen Headed to Promenade at Sagemore
Another nationally recognized brand is making its South Jersey debut, with Maman Coffee Bakery Kitchen preparing to open at the Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton.
Known for its charming French-country aesthetic and beautifully curated cafés, Maman has developed a loyal following in cities such as New York, Washington, D.C., Toronto, and beyond.
Guests can expect expertly crafted coffee drinks alongside an elevated menu featuring freshly baked pastries, signature cookies, breakfast favorites, sandwiches, salads, and seasonal specialties inspired by family recipes from the south of France and North America.
The café’s warm interiors and Instagram-worthy design have helped make Maman one of the most recognizable boutique café brands in recent years, and its arrival adds another exciting option for South Jersey coffee lovers.
Strong Brew Coffee Co. Going Brick & Mortar in Berlin
One of South Jersey’s favorite mobile coffee businesses is taking the next big step.
Strong Brew Coffee Co. has officially announced the opening of its first brick-and-mortar location at 220 S. White Horse Pike in Berlin.
Fans have been following Strong Brew across festivals, community events, breweries, and pop-ups throughout South Jersey, where its coffee trailer has become famous for oversized “Latte Buckets,” creative specialty drinks, refreshing Lotus Energy beverages, and a fun, energetic atmosphere.
The announcement marks a major milestone for the locally owned business, giving customers a permanent destination while allowing the company to continue growing its loyal following.
For many fans, it’s been exciting to watch Strong Brew evolve from a mobile trailer into a full-time café.
Struggle Monkey Café is Diligently Working on Medford Café
Struggle Monkey Café is preparing to open at Sharps Run Shopping Center on Route 70 in Medford.
Brooke Miller and her family have been working on this for over a year. They had previously considered opening elsewhere in Medford, but found the Sharps Run location better suited to their needs and to the café’s mission of creating a comfortable neighborhood gathering place.
Even though the sign is up outside, construction continues inside, so the opening date is still quite unknown at this time. They have been on top of keeping their social media followers updated, though.
Whaddya Brewin’ Faces Unexpected Setback, But the Dream Is Still Alive
Glendora’s most anticipated new coffee shop was expected to welcome its first customers this June. Instead, Whaddya Brewin’ in Glendora found itself dealing with an unimaginable setback after a vehicle crashed into the building, causing significant damage just as the team was preparing to open.
The Italian-inspired coffee shop had been generating plenty of excitement for its unique concept, blending specialty coffee with the warm neighborhood feel of a classic South Philadelphia café. Owners envisioned a gathering place where guests could enjoy handcrafted espresso drinks, fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and authentic Italian café culture without crossing the bridge into the city. The project had already attracted a loyal following eager to see the doors finally open.
In a heartfelt update shared on social media, the owners revealed that while the accident has delayed those plans, it hasn’t diminished their determination. The unexpected damage means they’ll need to rebuild before welcoming customers, pushing the grand opening back several months. Despite the disappointment, they remain optimistic and are now aiming to open before the end of the year.
While it’s certainly not the timeline anyone hoped for, the community’s response has been overwhelmingly supportive. Whaddya Brewin’ will have plenty of customers ready to celebrate when those doors finally open. After overcoming such an incredible obstacle, that first cup of coffee is sure to taste even sweeter.
